Rosemarie Zanghellini has been in the business of helping people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives for 15 years. Throughout her years in real estate, Rosemarie has successfully worked closely with buyers and sellers; first-time and repeat buyers, investors, families, pied-a-terres and foreign buyers. Her experience as real estate agent, landlord, coop-owner and board member in Manhattan are the strong basis to navigate her clients through the complex process of Manhattan real estate transactions, including board applications and mortgage financing. Rosemarie always gives her full attention to each deal with excellent results in negotiating price and closing deals.
Rosemarie takes a strategic approach in selling her properties. A written marketing plan outlines how to effectively market their apartments. Successful sales have involved staging and recommendations on cosmetic renovations to bring out the best potential for a property. She believes the right pricing strategy is critical for a successful sale. Her listings yield multiple offers for her sellers and have set many price per square foot records in her building.
When working with buyers, Rosemarie listens very carefully. Since needs are often not fully identified, finding the right new home to buy is a mutual learning process between clients and real estate professional. Rosemarie makes the New York City coop/condo buying process less stressful. Seeing the big picture for her clients, without losing sight of the uniqueness and details that is inherent in each transaction, she builds and maintains relationships with her clients that result in referrals and repeat business.
Rosemarie's earlier career brought her to the world of real estate through a natural progression. As a successful designer of fine silk accessories, her fashion career included sales and marketing with Calvin Klein, designing for Christian Dior and merchandising for some of the nation's top private label companies. She established her own firm, Zanghellini Designs, whose client roster included Tiffany, Nordstrom's, Berkshire Hathaway and Walt Disney.
Rosemarie grew up bilingual speaking English and German. As a longtime resident of New York City she is well-versed in explaining the world of Manhattan neighborhoods and public and private schools to clients. She currently lives in the Upper East Side with her economist husband and their almost ready-for-college daughter. In her free time she enjoys creative arts, travelling, gardening at her Shoreline CT home and watching her daughter ride horses.
