Lee M. Frankel is a licensed Real Estate Associate Broker with 19 years of experience selling properties throughout NYC and the surrounding environs. He has built a loyal clientele by understanding the entire deal making process and ensuring his patience, perseverance and, above all, integrity from the beginning to the end of each transaction.
Realizing that the purchase, sale, or lease of one's home is one of the most emotionally significant and financially important decisions in a person's life, Lee takes great pride in playing an intimate role in this process. A lifelong New Yorker, Lee is well known for his limitless access to information and valuable contacts in various business sectors and trade-related associations. There is a fine line that exists between "wanting" to close a deal and actually being "able" to. Lee understands the finesse & attention to detail necessary to get a deal done and his willingness to truly partner with his clients provides added value to their specific needs.
Lee is one of fewer than 1000 agents citywide to have obtained a newly developed designation as a board certified Negotiation Expert & New York Residential Specialist by REBNY, the Real Estate Board of New York. He is a past Executive Co-Chair of REBNY's Residential Sales Council, serves on its executive committee, & is also a past President of a Business Networking International chapter in New York City.
Prior to his involvement in real estate, Lee owned an advertising agency and full-service commercial printing company. His extensive background in the graphic arts and advertising industries provides an in-depth understanding of design and he brings that expertise, along with a refined aesthetic sensibility, to his real estate clientele and their individual projects. Lee is also an accomplished glass artist who studied various glass-making techniques at the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York (where Steuben glass was made) and in Venice and Murano, Italy.
Originally from Brooklyn, Lee holds two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from City University of NY, Baruch College; one in Marketing and Advertising and the other in Motivational Research. He has been a resident of the Upper East Side for the past 30 years and has served as president of the Board of Managers in the condominium where he lives with his wife Leigh Ann, their Jack Russell terriers, Roger and Cisco, and Franklin, the famous African Gray parrot, (Google, "$10,000 parrot" to find out why he's famous)!
This experience enables Lee to effectively guide his clients through the often-daunting board application process. An inveterate traveler, he has visited many exotic destinations; Indonesia, the Fiji islands, Morocco, New Zealand, Australia, Scandinavia, Thailand, and Dubai to name a few. Other passions include singing and volunteering at the non-profit organization, the Mended Hearts Club.
