Dean Dunbar is the Director of Business Development and Corporate Partnerships at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New York Properties. A Manhattan native with extensive real estate and finance industry experience, Dunbar's mission at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New York Properties is to establish new corporate relocation relationships for the company, and to recruit, train and mentor agents who are aligned with the company's core values.
Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Dean spent six years at a prestigious New York City residential real estate firm where he managed the Westside flagship and Upper East Side offices. During his tenure as sales manager, Dean earned an enviable reputation for his prowess in agent recruitment and retention, and for developing an innovative agent training curriculum. Dean was previously a relocation director at another firm where he used his seven-year track record as both an agent and manager to successfully establish corporate relocation relationships with Fortune 500 companies throughout New York City.
Dean transitioned to real estate after 15 years of experience on Wall Street where he was a vice president in private wealth management at Goldman Sachs and a managing director at a startup hedge fund.
Leveraging his extensive corporate network, Dean will be focused on the long-term growth and expansion of corporate relocation business for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New York Properties.
Dean has a bachelor's degree from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is on the Admissions Committee of the Harvard Club of New York and has worked as a pro bono consultant for Harvard Business School of New York Community Partners.
