Laurie spent about a year helping us to find our home. From the beginning, she was responsive, knowledgeable and relentless in searching for just the right property. We felt that she really understood what we were looking for, and was encouraging about the possibilities (as opposed to making us feel that our demands were unrealistic or unreasonable). Her knowledge of the area and of houses in general was invaluable, and when looking at properties Laurie pointed out what to look at and notice and consider, including how certain spaces could be reimagined. As first time home buyers, she patiently taught us a lot about the process. She was able to talk to the sellers in a way that made them feel comfortable, but I always felt that she was looking out for our best interest. Even during moments when we were less proactive in our search, Laurie was on the lookout and continued to send us listings to consider. She was the one who found the property that we ended up purchasing, and she walked us through all the steps, from making the offer, to the inspection, to our communication with the seller up through the closing. We were so lucky to have her be our guide, and have a beautiful home due to her!
